Wabi Sabi Interior Transformation: A Project in Progress
We're excited to share a sneak peek into a stunning project we've been immersed in for the past few weeks. Get ready to be inspired by this wabi sabi style interior!
Laying the Foundation: Large-Format Porcelain Tiles
We started with the floors, installing impressive 63"x63" porcelain tiles. The scale of these tiles brings a modern, seamless look to the space. Precision is key, and we used a leveling system to ensure a flawless finish.
Architectural Details: Arched Doorways and Floating Drywall
A key feature of this design is the double archway connecting the kitchen and dining areas. We're also incorporating a floating drywall design on all the walls, adding depth and visual interest.
The Beauty of Imperfection: Lime Wash and Seamless Doors
To achieve the wabi sabi aesthetic, we're using lime wash paint on the walls and ceilings. This technique creates a textured, organic finish that embraces imperfection. Seamless doors will blend effortlessly into the walls, adding to the minimalist feel.
